Quick stuffed Dinner rolls

Bbq chicken stuffed dinner rolls.

Takes about 30 minutes.

I found this quick dinner roll recipe here.

1 cup plus 2Tbsp warm water
1/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup oil
2 Tbsp dry active yeast

1/2t salt
1 egg
3 1/2 cups flour
Pre heat oven to 400`

Defrost 3 large frozen chicken breasts I used 2 large and it wasn't quite enough.

Mix together the first part of the dough recipe

Water, sugar, oil, yeast

Let rest 10 mins

Cook chicken
I used a foreman grill. Its quick and I can just put it on and not worry about it.

Mix
Salt, egg, 2 cups flour
then mix in remaining flour 1/2 cup at a time.

Shred the chicken and add bbq sauce.

Grease 9x13 pan

Divide dough into 12 balls.
Flatten a ball I did it in my hand
Add chicken and fold up the sides
Shape into ball and place on pan
Continue with all 12

Let rest 10 minutes

Bake in 400' oven for 10 minutes until top are lightly golden.

Have you tried poke cake

Here is where I found the original recipe for poke cake.
I made it for my sisters birthday a few years ago with Oreos, we have made it a few times since.
Yesterday she made one for my sons 2nd Birthday.
She was going for Seahawks colors
We got thw cake part colored a grey blue color.
Then you poke the cake with a round something... the handle of a wood spoon perhaps.
Mix up that instant pudding! We ours made a wonderful green color.
Poor the pudding on the cake after it is mixed following the box instructions.
Smooth it out.
She didnt get enough whipped cream. So we put on a thin layer. While saving a spoonful out to add a blue accent.
Blue accent? :)
We wrote a two with the blue! Then going with the construction theme we added this heavy equipment thing. Ill ask my brother what it is called.
Check out my next blog for the construction birthday cake.
